Connectly ("Connectly", "we", "us", or "our") provides a communication and workspace management platform that helps businesses manage conversations, contacts, automations, integrations, and related workspace data.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Connectly collects, how we use it, how we store and protect it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Connectly, we may collect and process:
• Account information, such as your name, email address, and account identifiers.
• Workspace information, including workspace membership, roles, permissions, settings, and connected services.
• Communication data, including messages and conversation information exchanged through connected messaging services.
• Contact information that you import, create, or manage through Connectly.
• Integration data required to operate services that you explicitly connect to your Connectly workspace.
• Usage and technical information, such as application activity, device or browser information, diagnostic information, and service telemetry used to maintain security, reliability, and performance.
• Billing and subscription information necessary to manage paid plans and subscriptions. Payment details may be processed by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Connectly.
2. Google User Data
Connectly may allow you to connect your Google Account to specific Connectly features, including Google Sheets functionality.
When you choose to connect Google Sheets, Connectly requests only the Google API permissions necessary to provide the Google Sheets functionality you explicitly use.
For Google Sheets, Connectly reads only the specific spreadsheet and tab that you select in the Google file picker, in order to import contacts into your workspace. When you export contacts, Connectly appends new rows to that same tab and may update rows it previously exported there.
Connectly does not create, delete, rename or restructure spreadsheets, and does not change spreadsheet formatting. Connectly cannot list or open any other file in your Google Drive, because access is granted on a per-file basis for the spreadsheets you choose.
Connectly does not use Google user data for advertising, advertising profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Google user data is used only to provide and operate the Connectly functionality that you have requested or enabled.
Connectly does not sell Google user data.
Connectly does not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness, insurance eligibility, employment eligibility, or similar decisions.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Provide and operate Connectly and its features.
• Authenticate users and maintain accounts and workspaces.
• Route and manage communications through connected services.
• Run automations and workflows configured by workspace users.
• Store and manage CRM and contact records.
• Provide integrations that users explicitly enable, including Google Sheets.
• Import, export, create, edit, or manage data when requested by the user.
• Provide analytics and operational insights within Connectly.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and protect Connectly and its users.
• Diagnose technical problems and improve reliability and performance.
• Process subscriptions and provide customer support.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Google API Data Use
Connectly's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the applicable Google API Services User Data Policy and its Limited Use requirements.
Connectly requests only the permissions necessary to provide the relevant functionality.
Google data received by Connectly is not used for purposes unrelated to the Google functionality that the user has authorized.
We do not sell Google API data.
We do not use Google API data for advertising or to serve advertisements.
We do not use Google API data for generalized profiling or analytics unrelated to providing the requested Connectly feature.
Google user data is never used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and is never transferred to any artificial intelligence or machine learning provider for that purpose. Connectly enforces this on its servers: values derived from your spreadsheets are removed before any AI prompt is created, and each removal is recorded in the workspace audit log. A contact's phone number is retained where it is required to route a message, and WhatsApp conversation content written by you or your contacts is not Google user data.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Connectly stores information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Workspace data is logically separated between workspaces and access is controlled through authentication, roles, and permissions.
Where Connectly stores OAuth credentials or tokens required for an integration, they are protected using appropriate security controls and are used only to maintain the authorized integration.
When an integration is disconnected or authorization is revoked, Connectly will stop using the revoked authorization and will delete or otherwise securely dispose of OAuth credentials and tokens that are no longer required, subject to applicable legal or legitimate operational requirements.
Disconnecting a Google account from Connectly Settings removes the stored authorization and the associated spreadsheet connections from Connectly. Your Google files are never modified or deleted by disconnecting. You can also review or revoke Connectly's access at any time from the permissions page of your Google Account.
Deleted workspace records may first be placed in a temporary recycle or recovery state before permanent deletion.
6. Data Sharing
Connectly does not sell personal information or Google user data.
We may share information only when reasonably necessary to:
• Provide a service or integration requested by you.
• Use service providers that process information on our behalf, such as hosting, infrastructure, analytics, communications, payment, security, or customer-support providers.
• Comply with applicable law, legal process, or valid governmental requests.
• Protect the rights, safety, security, and property of Connectly, our users, or others.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our Terms of Service.
Service providers are permitted to process information only as necessary to provide the services they perform for Connectly.
7. Third-Party Services
Connectly may integrate with third-party services, including messaging providers, Google services, hosting providers, payment providers, and other services selected or enabled by the user.
When you connect a third-party service, that service may process information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Connectly is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party services.
8. Security
Connectly uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption in transit, secure infrastructure, permission controls, monitoring, and other security practices appropriate to the nature of the information.
No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law and the functionality available in your Connectly workspace, you may be able to:
• Access information associated with your account or workspace.
• Export or delete workspace data.
• Manage workspace members, roles, and permissions.
• Disconnect integrations.
• Revoke Google authorization through your Google Account.
• Request assistance with privacy or data-subject requests.

10. Children's Privacy
Connectly is intended for business and professional use and is not directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
11. International Data Processing
Depending on the services and infrastructure used to operate Connectly, information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you are located.
Where required by applicable law, Connectly will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Connectly, our services, applicable law, or our data practices.
When we make material changes, we may update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice where required.
13. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, Google user data, data access, deletion requests, or privacy practices, please contact us through the contact information provided on the Connectly website.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure
Connectly's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we access
- Google Sheets (spreadsheets) — to read the tab you select when importing contacts and to append rows when you export contacts.
- Per-file Google Drive access (drive.file) — limited to the specific spreadsheets you choose in the Google file picker. We cannot list or open any other file in your Drive.
- Email address and basic sign-in (openid, userinfo.email) — to show which Google account is connected to your workspace.
How we use it
- Only to provide the Google Sheets import and export features you explicitly start in Connectly.
- Google user data is never used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and is never transferred to any AI or machine-learning provider for that purpose. Connectly enforces this server-side: spreadsheet-derived values are removed before any AI prompt is built, and each removal is recorded in the workspace audit log.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising or credit purposes.
- Humans do not read Google user data except with your explicit consent, to resolve a specific support issue you raised, for security purposes, or where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Imported contact records are stored in your workspace and remain under your control — you can delete them at any time. Disconnecting the Google account from Connectly Settings immediately removes the stored authorization and all spreadsheet connections. Your Google files are never modified or deleted by disconnecting. You can also revoke Connectly's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.
